2009 (So.): Started all 12 games, staring 11 at defensive end and the other at defensive tackle... One of four defensive players and one of eight overall to start all 12 games... Posted 36 total tackles (17 solo, 19 assists) ranking first for defensive lineman and sixth overall... Tied for team-lead with three sacks and a team-leading 23 yards lost, part of 3.5 tackles for loss, which tied for second on the team... His 24 yards lost on tackles for loss was tops on team... Added team-high four QB hurries along with one pass break-up... Also posted team’s lone safety of season, sacking Southern Utah quarterback in home-opener for USU’s first safety since 2003...  For second-straight season posted top tackle outing against Utah, logging a career-high eight... Added six stops in Southern Utah and Louisiana Tech games... Notched 1.5 sacks in LA Tech game while his lone pass break-up came at New Mexico State.

2008 (Fr.): Saw action in 10 games and made 18 tackles (eight solo, 10 assists)... Added 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks, as well as two pass break-ups and one forced fumble... Top outing was Utah game with four tackles while adding three stops in BYU and Boise State games. 

2007 (RS): Redshirted his first season at USU. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a first-team all-state selection by the Deseret News… Earned all-valley honors by the Logan Herald Journal… Recorded 67 tackles as a senior… Also had 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one safety… Team won the state 3A championship. 

PERSONAL: Full name is Monte “Junior” Keiaho… Born April 29, 1988 in San Bernardino, Calif… Son of Anitimon and Lavili Keiaho… He and his wife, Anatava, have a daughter, Jonilynn and a son, Liuaki… Has two brothers and three sisters… Majoring in exercise science… Hobbies include spending time with his family... One of six Logan natives and one of five Logan HS alums on roster.
