Final Stats

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Utah State gymnastics finished fourth at the Corvette Cup Classic at the University of Missouri Saturday. The Aggies posted a 191.700. Denver University won the meet with a 195.675, Missouri took second with a 194.775, and Illinois State finished third with a 193.000.

The Aggies' Jessenia Abrego and Nicole Kilpatrick finished fourth and fifth in the all-around.

"We had a chance at Illinois State entering the fourth rotation," head coach Ray Corn said. "But we just weren't able to pull it off. All in all, we had a flawed team performance, considering what we put together in the first couple rotations Wednesday. This has been a year unlike any other."

Allison Rosenthal and Abrego took fifth and sixth on floor, respectively, in the tournament-scored meet. "We had five decent routines on floor," Corn said. "They just were not as crisp as we were against Boise State last week. Overall, we vaulted very well, but again, we weren't able to stick our landings like at our last meet."

Complete results were not available late Saturday night.
