Cross Country (2020): Placed 55th at the Mountain West Championships, crossing the finish line in 25:53.8 to help Utah State place second as a team… Posted a time of 26:09.4 at the Dixie State Invitational to place 50th, helping the Aggies capture the team title… Finished 99th in the Florida State Winter Classic Garnet Race with a time of 25:23.7… Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outdoor: Ran career-best time of 3:56.63 in the 1,500 meters to place fourth at the Weber State Twilight Meet… Finished seventh in the 5,000 meters with a personal-best time of 14:37.08 at the Drake Relays… Captured third place in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:02.08 at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

2020 (JR)
Cross Country (2019): Ran in five races during the season, recording a pair of top-five finishes… Helped lead Utah State to the team title at the Utah Open as he placed second with a time of 19:35.5… Finished fourth with a time of 21:53.26 at the USU-hosted Sagebrush Invitational as the Aggies placed first as a team… Placed 14th with a time of 25:46.0 at the Montana State Cross Country Classic… Finished 40th (25:55.1) in the B Race at the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational and 130th (24:47.1) at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.
Indoor: Placed 14th in the 3,000 meters with a career-best time of 8:38.22 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Ran personal-best time of 14:52.10 in the 5,000 meters at the Washington Invitational… Earned academic all-MW honors.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (SO)
Cross Country (2018): Ran in three races for the Aggies with his best finish coming at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational, where he placed 12th with a time of 22:35.71… Finished 23rd with a time of 22:40.93 at the USU-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational… Placed 44th with a time of 22:34.8 at the BYU-hosted Autumn Classic... Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Placed third in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 15:12.03 at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational… Finished fourth in the 3,000 meters with a season-best time of 8:40.09 at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Invitational.
Outdoor: Competed in the 5,000 meters at two separate meets with his best finish coming at the UC Irvine-hosted Collegiate Classic, where he placed third with a time of 14:46.44… Ran season-best time of 14:37.60 in the 5,000 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays, where he placed fifth in the event… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

2018 (FR)
Cross Country (2017): Ran in three races for the Aggies with his best finish being 16th place at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational with a time of 22:19.641… Finished 20th at the USU-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial with a time of 23:20.60… Placed 46th at the BYU Invitational with a mark of 20:25.6.
Indoor: Competed in three events at three separate meets… Placed fifth in the 3,000 meters with a season-best time of 8:47.77 at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational… Captured sixth in the 5,000 meters with a season-best time of 15:26.18 at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Challenge… Took seventh place in the mile with a season-best time of 4:26.82 at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational.
Outdoor: Placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:57.73 at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational… Set a personal-best time of 9:43.56 in the same event at the UC Irvine-hosted Spring Collegiate Classic, where he finished ninth… Earned a 17th-place finish in the 1,500 meters with a season-best time of 4:09.11 at the Utah/Weber State-hosted Spring Classic… Earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A six-time letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Sunset High School in Portland, Oregon… Earned second-team OSSAA all-state cross country honors in 2016, first-team all-district accolades in 2016 and second-team all-district recognition in 2014 and 2015… Helped lead the Apollos to three consecutive Metro League cross country championships from 2014-16… Sunset HS placed second in state in 2014 and 2016… Ran personal-best times of 15:41.9 in the 5K, 8:45.39 in the 3K, 2:00.17 in the 800 meters and 53.24 in the 400 meters… Earned Sunset HS Scholar-Athlete honors, was the school’s salutatorian and an honors diploma graduate.

PERSONAL: One of three children of Paul and Stacie Tew… Majoring in art.
