2023-24 SEASON (JR): Appeared in seven tournaments, playing 20 rounds… Ranked tied for third in top-10 finishes (1), tied for fourth in top-20 finishes (1), fifth in rounds at par or better (7) and sixth in stroke average (74.55)... Played in all three rounds of the Mountain West Championships, shooting a 74, 69 and 81, respectively, on his way to a tie for 42nd finish with a 8-over 224 at the Emerald Valley Golf Club in Creswell, Oregon… Recorded a career-best top finish of tied for seventh with a 36-hole score of 1-under 143 (71-72), helping Utah State to its 23rd team title in program history in the Northern Colorado Spring Invitational at Raindance National Golf Course in Windsor, Colorado… Recorded one top-10 finish and shot five rounds under par… Earned Academic All-MW honors ... Helped USU receive the All-Academic Team Award from the Golf Coaches Association of American.
2022-23 SEASON (SO): Appeared in nine tournaments, playing 25 rounds… Had a stroke average of 74.44, including averaging 73.89 in the first round, 74.89 in the second round and 74.57 in the third round… Ranked second on the team in pars (266), second in birdies (66) and third in eagles (3)… Tied for 46th at the Mountain West Championships as he shot a 9-over 225 (76-75-74) on the Catalina Course at the OMNI Tucson National Resort in Tucson, Arizona… Shot a career-best 54-hole score of 4-under 212 (72-67-73) to tie for 19th – matching his personal-best finish – at the UC San Diego Invitational on the North Course of Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California… Also tied for 19th (1-over 217) at the Southern Utah-hosted Pizza Hut-Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational at Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah… Notched two top-20 finishes, recorded seven rounds under par, which ranked second on the team, and had three rounds in the 60s to lead the team... Earned Academic All-MW honors.
2021-22 SEASON (FR): Competed in all five of Utah State’s spring tournaments, playing 14 rounds… Ranked third on the team with a stroke average of 74.14, including an average of 73.00 in his first round, 73.60 in the second round and 76.25 in the third round… Ranked second on the team in eagles (3), fifth in birdies (41) and sixth in pars (145)… Shot an 11-over 227 (75-77-75) at the Mountain West Championships to tie for 42nd… One of two Aggies to record an eagle at the MW Championship, which was held on the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington… Made collegiate debut at the Southern Utah-hosted Pizza Hut-Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational at Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah, where he competed as an individual and shot a 2-over 218 to tie for 29th… Opened the Thunderbird Invitational with a 4-under 68, one of two rounds he shot in the 60s on the season… Best finish of the season was at the UC San Diego Invitational on the La Costa Champions Course in Carlsbad, California, tying for 20th at 3-over 219… Was 1-over through the first three holes of the second round before making five birdies and an eagle to finish at 6-under 66, a career best for 18 holes… Earned Academic All-MW honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-year letterwinner in golf at Agoura High School in Agoura Hills, California… Had a 75.88 scoring average during his senior season, including a 75.80 average in the playoffs… Earned first-team All-Marmonte League honors as a senior and second-team accolades as a junior… Was the runner-up in the Marmonte League Finals during his senior campaign… Graduated from Agoura HS in 2018.
PERSONAL: Son of Steve and Marici Cook... Has one brothers… Called to serve in the Guatemala Quetzaltenango mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but was reassigned to the Arizona Phoenix mission, where he served from Aug. 2019-21… Graduated from Utah State in the spring of 2025 with his bachelor's degree in management: operations supply chain management.
