Cross Country (2017): Competed in five races during the year, with her best finish coming at the Utah State-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial, where she placed sixth with a time of 19:00.51… Finished 19th at both the open run at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run and the USU-hosted Sagebrush Invitational with times of 21:53 and 19:06.83, respectively… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete accolades.
Indoor: Competed in the mile at two meets, recording a personal-best time of 5:19.44 at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Challenge, where she placed seventh in the event… Also competed in the 3,000 meters at two meets with her best finish coming at the Jackson Nike Boise Indoor Invite, where she finished seventh with a time of 10:55.13.
Outdoor: Finished ninth in the 10,000 meters with a time of 36:21.02, which ranks sixth all-time in school history, at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Recorded career-best times of 5:04.51 in the 1,500 meters at the Utah/Weber State-hosted Spring Classic, 10:19.28 in the 3,000 meters at the UC Irvine-hosted Spring Collegiate Classic and 17:37.65 in the 5,000 meters at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational… Earned academic all-MW, MW Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

2017 (JR)
Cross Country (2016): Competed in two meets during the season with her best finish coming at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational, where she placed 44th with a time of 19:24.16… Earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Did not compete during the season.
Outdoor: Recorded season-best times of 5:18.70 in the 1,500 meters at the Utah Valley Invitational, 10:40.54 in the 3,000 meters at the UC Irvine-hosted Spring Collegiate Classic and 18:46.22 in the 5,000 meters at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational... Earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

2016 (SO) 
Cross Country (2015): Redshirted, but earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors. 
Indoor: Competed in just two meets on the season, recording a time of 10:41.17 in the 3,000 meters at the Boise State-hosted Jacksons/New Balance Invitational.
Outdoor: Redshirted, but earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2013 (FR)
Indoor: Placed 10th in the 5,000 meters (18:25.87) and 30th in the 3,000 meters (10:54.09) at the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.
Outdoor: Took 21st in the 1,500 meters (5:03.10) and second in the 5,000 meters (19:08.46) at the All-Idaho Cup… Earned academic all-Western Athletic Conference and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A six-time letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Granada High School in Livermore, Calif… Finished in the top seven at the North Coast sectionals in 2010… Won league and North Coast sectional championships in 2010 and 2011.

PERSONAL: Full name is Kelsey Lynn Girardelli… Oldest of three children of Gary and Tracy Girardelli… Served an LDS Church Mission in Guadalajara, Mexico, from 2014-2015… Graduated from Utah State with a degree in biology.
