STOCKTON, Calif. - Freshman Jill Smith posted Utah State's lone point as Utah State's women's tennis fell to Pacific 6-1, Monday, March 10. Sophomore duo Haley Hawkins and Carolyn Larsen won at No. two doubles, but the Aggies failed to get the point because they lost two of the three doubles matches.
The Aggies dropped to 2-4, while the Tigers improved to 2-4.
Smith defeated Jaimee Bremner at No. six singles in a tie breaker 2-6, 6-4, 1-0.
The Aggies play at Cal Poly on Tuesday, March 11 for the final match of a three-match road swing. The Aggies are back in action at home on Thursday, March 27, when they host Montana.
