Utah State women's basketball (12-14, 7-8 Mountain West) wraps up regular season action this week with a two-game road trip as the Aggies take on San Diego State (10-15, 5-9 MW) on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m. (MT), followed by Nevada (10-15, 6-8 MW) on Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m.
The Aggies then return to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Monday, March 4, for their home finale as USU hosts Colorado State (8-17, 2-12 MW) at 7 p.m. The game will also honor the team's two seniors, guard
Rachel Brewster and center
Deja Mason, for Senior Day.
SCOUTING THE AZTECS
Utah State trails San Diego State, 5-6, in the all-time series, including a 56-54 loss in February. This season, San Diego State has an overall record of 10-15, including 5-9 in Mountain West play. SDSU averages 65.0 points per game, while shooting 40.2 percent (576-of-1,432) from the field, 33.4 percent (130-of-389) from behind the arc and 70.4 percent (343-of-487) at the free throw line. Freshman guard Sophia Ramos leads three Aztecs averaging in double figures with 14.0 points per game, while sophomore Naje Murray averages 13.2 points per game and freshman guard Mallory Adams averages 12.1 points per game. Adams leads the team on the boards, averaging 8.7 rebounds per game, while Ramos leads in assists with 4.6 dimes per game.
Defensively, opponents are averaging 68.0 points against San Diego State, while shooting 40.4 percent (611-of-1,513) from the floor, 32.4 percent (166-of-513) from long range and 72.3 percent (311-of-430) at the free throw line. Redshirt junior center Zayn Dornstauder leads SDSU in blocks with 1.3 per game, while Murray leads in steals with 2.2 thefts per game.
SCOUTING THE WOLF PACK
Utah State leads Nevada, 18-12, in the all-time series, including a 79-76 double-overtime win in January. This season, the Wolf Pack is 10-15 overall, including 6-8 in Mountain West action. Nevada averages 65.1 points per game, while shooting 39.8 percent (610-of-1,534) from the field, 27.6 percent (105-of-380) from behind the 3-point line and 68.7 percent (303-of-441) at the free throw line. Senior guard Jade Redmon leads Nevada with 15.0 points per game, followed by senior forward Terae Briggs with 14.0 points per game. Briggs also leads the team on the glass with 8.2 rebounds per game, while Redmon leads in assists with 2.4 helpers per game.
Defensively, opponents average 68.0 points per game against the Wolf Pack, while shooting 43.5 percent (648-of-1,490) from the floor, 31.1 percent (135-of-434) from behind the arc and 67.9 percent (269-of-396) at the free throw line. Briggs leads the team in both steals and assists with 1.6 and 0.9 per game, respectively.
SCOUTING THE RAMS
Utah State trails Colorado State in the all-time series, 11-18, but won the last meeting in Fort Collins, Colo., 72-53, in January. This season, Colorado State is 8-17 overall, including 2-12 in conference play. The Rams are averaging 54.4 points per game, while shooting 38.0 percent (502-of-1,322) from the field, 28.7 percent (135-of-471) from behind the arc and 75.6 percent (220-of-291) at the charity stripe. Sophomore guard Lore Devos and junior guard Mollie Mounsey lead the team in scoring with 13.8 and 10.7 points per game, respectively. Devos also leads the team in rebounds with 5.4 per game, and redshirt sophomore guard Grace Colaivalu leads with 4.8 assists per game.
Defensively, opponents average 59.4 points per game against Colorado State, while shooting 35.9 percent (536-of-1,492) from the floor, 32.6 percent (202-of-619) from behind the 3-point line and 73.8 percent (211-of-286) at the free throw line. Devos leads the team in steals with 1.6 per game, while redshirt senior forward Tatum Neubert leads in blocks with 1.2 per game.
DOUBLES FOR DAYS
Junior guard/forward
Shannon Dufficy recorded her school-record ninth consecutive double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds at San José State (Jan. 30). Dufficy has recorded a double-double in all but three conference games this season, averaging 16.7 points and 11.5 rebounds per contest in Mountain West play.
DOUBLES FOR DAYS - PART II
Dufficy has recorded 16 double-doubles this season to rank first in the Mountain West and 13th in the nation. Dufficy averages a double-double at 15.6 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Her 16 double-doubles rank second in program history in single-season double-doubles. She needs just one more double-double outing this season to tie Sharon Epps for first with 17.
DOUBLES FOR DAYS - PART III
Dufficy has recorded 28 double-doubles in her Aggie career, which is tied for second in school history. Epps holds the record with 31 career double-doubles.

Shannon Dufficy has scored 20 or more points in seven conference games this season, including a career-high 26 against New Mexico (Jan. 26), at UNLV (Feb. 2) and against Boise State (Feb. 23). Senior guard

GLASS EATER
Dufficy has pulled down at least five rebounds in all but one game this season, and has had 17 games collecting double-digit boards. She has led the team in rebounding in 18 of the last 20 games. Dufficy averages 10.4 rebounds per game to rank first in the Mountain West and 32nd in the nation, and has totaled 270 rebounds this season to rank first in the conference and 28th in the nation.
FEELING IT
Utah State defeated league-leading Boise State, 81-68, on Feb. 23, after the Aggies shot a season-best 56.3 percent (27-of-48) from the floor. Four Aggies scored in double figures in the victory, led by junior guard/forward

Rachel Brewster is one of four players in Utah State history to record 1,000 points and 500 rebounds after logging 1,243 career points and 534 career boards. The last Aggie to record 1,000 points and 500 rebounds was Margaret Johns in 1980-83.
