RENO, Nev. — Utah State women's basketball (4-16, 2-13 MW) dropped a road contest to Nevada (10-8, 6-7 MW), 63-40, on Wednesday evening inside the Lawlor Event Center.

Emmie Harris had her third-straight game going for a career-high in scoring, finishing with a game-best 19 points while shooting 8-of-16 from the field and 3-of-7 from 3-point range. Fifteen of Harris' points came in the second half, and 11 came in the fourth quarter

Monique Pruitt led the Aggies on the glass with five rebounds apiece.
While USU held Nevada to just 63 points, the second-fewest scored by an Aggie opponent this season, Utah State was held to a season-low 40 points, 27 of which came in the second half.
Nevada was led in both scoring and rebounding by sophomore forward Leta Otuafi, who went for 16 points and eight boards.
As a team, Utah State shot 24.1 percent (14-of-58) from the field, 16.0 percent (4-of-25) from 3-point range and 80.0 percent (8-of-10) at the free throw line. Nevada shot 38.8 percent (26-of-67) from the field, while shooting 20.0 percent (5-of-25) from the 3-point line and 75.0 percent (6-of-8) from the charity stripe.
The Aggies are back at it tomorrow as they remain in Reno for part-two of the two-game series against Nevada, and Thursday, Feb. 25, starting at 6 p.m. (MT). The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network, and live stats will be available via Sidearm.
