LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's gymnastics team is ranked No. 21 in the country in Week 5 of the Road to Nationals rankings, which were released Monday.
Following their season-high home score of 196.425 in a tri-meet victory against Southern Utah and Ball State, the Aggies dropped one spot in the rankings. Utah State is the second-highest ranked team from the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference, trailing only BYU, which remained at No. 18.
After finishing with a 195.550 in the tri meet, the Thunderbirds dropped one spot to No. 25 in the rankings. Boise State is No. 24.

In the tri meet against the Thunderbirds and Cardinals, the Aggies' 196.425 proved to be the fifth-best home score in program history. Utah State also had a 49.475 on beam, which is tied for third all-time.

Utah State (7-3, 3-1 MRGC) begins a two-meet road swing this week when the Aggies travel to Cedar City, Utah, for a dual meet against SUU (3-5, 1-4 MRGC) on Friday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m., at the America First Event Center.
