Utah State Women’s Basketball Signs Olivia Mason

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head women's basketball coach Kayla Ard announced the signing of Olivia Mason, a forward transferring from Niagara University with two years of eligibility.
 
"We are happy to have Olivia signing with us," Ard said. "This young lady has had a very solid career at Niagara and we are excited she has decided to finish out her career as an Aggie. She is a very hard worker with a contagiously positive attitude that will be great for our culture."
 
Mason appeared and started in 29 games for the Purple Eagles in the 2021-22 campaign, finishing second on the team with 5.8 rebounds per game. She averaged 6.9 points per game, while finishing the season with 51 steals, 26 assists and five blocks. Mason scored in double figures six times, including a season-high 14 points twice. She collected double-digit rebounds in four games, including two double-double outings.
 
In all, Mason has appeared in 48 career games, including 43 starts, turning in 6.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. She is also a two-time member of the MAAC all-Academic Team.
