LOGAN, Utah – Second-year Utah State head gymnastics coach Kristin White announced the Aggies' 2024 schedule on Friday.

The Aggies will have 11 regular season meets, including four inside the friendly confines of the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. Utah State will also play host to the inaugural Mountain West Championships on Friday, March 23, at 7 p.m.

"Our staff is thrilled to announce our 2024 schedule," White said. "When we arrived on campus back in the summer of 2022, we knew that we wanted to increase our level of competition to our schedule. We are thrilled that our student-athletes will be competing against some of the best teams across the country. This competitive experience will help push our student-athletes to compete their best each weekend during the season."

Utah State will be on the road for its first three meets of the season, beginning with a quad meet at North Carolina on Friday, Jan. 5. Ball State and Rutgers will join the Aggies and host Tar Heels.

The Aggies will then spend the remainder of January in the Beehive State, beginning with the fifth annual Rio Tinto Best of Utah Meet on Monday, Jan. 15, at the Maverik Center in West Valley City.

Later that week, Utah State will bus to Cedar City for a tri meet against host Southern Utah and Arizona State on Friday, Jan. 19.

The Aggies open the home portion of their schedule the following weekend against Air Force on Friday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m., in Utah State's first-ever Mountain West meet. Southern Utah will be in town on Friday, Feb. 2, for a non-conference dual meet, also at 7 p.m.

"Our slate at home will consist of a combination of a few different conferences this season," White said. "We are excited to host all three of our Mountain West foes, as well as one of our in-state rivals in SUU."

Utah State's lone February road trip will see the Aggies head to Norman, Oklahoma, for a quad meet against the host Sooners, BYU and Texas Woman's on Friday, Feb. 9.

USU returns to the Spectrum for the final two home meets of the regular season. First up is a Mountain West dual meet against San José State on Friday, Feb. 16, followed by a quad meet against Boise State, Iowa State and TWU on Friday, Feb. 23. Both competitions begin at 7 p.m.

"Our final home meet of the season will be a very exciting quad competition, which will provide great preparation for the MW Championships," White said. "We look forward to welcoming Boise State, Iowa State and TWU to Logan that weekend."

Utah State closes the regular season with three straight on the road: a tri meet at Air Force (March 1), a dual meet at Utah (March 15) and a tri meet at Boise State (March 17). SJSU will join the Aggies and Falcons in Colorado, while Oregon State will meet up with USU and BSU in the Gem State.

"Joining the Mountain West has been a very exciting transition," White said. "We are thankful to have a conference that has invested in our student-athletes and women's gymnastics. We are ecstatic to announce that we will be hosting the first-ever Mountain West Championships here in Logan. Air Force, Boise State, and San José State bring a fun and exciting competitive level to the conference, and we can't wait to see them all in dual competition this year. We look forward to having Aggie Nation loud and proud in the stands in March."

The MW Championships kick off the postseason for the Aggies on March 23. The NCAA Regional Championships will be held April 3-6 at one of four pre-determined sites: Ann Arbor, Michigan (Crisler Center), Berkeley, California (Haas Pavilion), Fayetteville, Arkansas (Barnhill Arena) and Gainesville, Florida (Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center).

The NCAA Gymnastics Championships will be hosted at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, April 18-20.
