LOGAN, Utah – Utah State will conclude the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference regular season portion of its schedule on Friday, Feb. 24, in Utah County.
The MRGC dual meet between the Aggies and BYU will take place at the Smith Fieldhouse in Provo and begin at 7 p.m.
"This is one of those fun rivalries that we have in sports," said first-year Utah State head coach Kristin White. "After coming off a season-high team score, we are looking forward to building off that momentum and carrying it into the remainder of our season. We have four more very important competitions remaining until regionals and our athletes are eager to make them the best ones yet."
Friday's meet between USU (1-7, 1-6 MRGC) and BYU (2-9, 2-5 MRGC) will be streamed at

The Aggies come into the meet fresh off their best outing of the season as Utah State scored a season-high 196.175 against then-No. 21 Southern Utah on Feb. 17, at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
SUU won the dual meet with a 197.125. The announced crowd of 3,299 was a season high for the Aggies and the 16th-largest in school history.
"I was very proud of the rebound performance our bars squad had last weekend against Southern Utah, and I know that we are going to start off strong on that event," White said. "We are looking forward to a calm, normal gymnastics warm-up, and our team staying together and bringing the energy this weekend during competition. It should be a fun night in Provo on Friday."
The Cougars lead the all-time series with the Aggies 88-52-1. The two teams have split the first two meetings this season, with Utah State winning at the Rio Tinto Best of Utah Meet and BYU posting a dual-meet victory in Logan.
BYU is 37-10-1 all-time against USU in Provo, and has won six straight at home over the Aggies.
