LOGAN, Utah - Utah State head men's basketball coach
Danny Sprinkle announced the signing of Jackson Grant to the 2023-24 roster.
Grant, a 6-foot-10 forward, joins the Aggies after spending the previous two seasons at Washington, where he appeared in 39 games, averaging 1.5 rebounds per game. Grant played in 25 games as a freshman in the 2021-22, recording a career-high seven points against Northern Arizona (Nov. 11, 2021) and had a career-best six rebounds twice. He played in 14 games in 2022-23, tying his career-high six rebounds against Idaho State (Dec. 17, 2022).
The native of Olympia, Washington, was a McDonald's All-American and was named the 2020-21 Gatorade Washington Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Grant ranked as the nation's No. 42 prospect in the Class of 2021 and was considered the No. 2 player in the state of Washington by ESPN. He concluded his prep career as the leading scorer in school history and was also named the Player of the Year in his conference.
Grant led Olympia (Washington) High School to a 14-2 record and the South Puget Sound League championship in 2021, averaging 22.9 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game, converting 65.6 percent of his field goal attempts. He was named

On the AAU circuit, Grant played for Washington Supreme and saw time with the USA Basketball family. He took part in the 2019 USA Basketball Men's Junior National Team October camp and the 2019 USA Basketball Men's Junior National Team July minicamp.
