LOGAN, Utah – Ten members of Utah State's 2022-23 gymnastics team received Scholastic All-America Award accolades from the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA), it was announced Tuesday by the organization.

Jenna Eagles,
Maia Fishwick,
Payton Gatzlaff,
Dani Kirstine,
Alivia Ostendorf,
Marley Peterson and
Ariel Toomey were all honored by the WCGA for carrying a 3.5 or higher GPA during the school year.
This is the fourth WCGA Scholastic All-America Award for both Aragon and Toomey, and third for Brooks and Fishwick.
Based on data submitted to the WCGA, Brown boasted the top team GPA with a 3.8305, followed by Texas Woman's in second at 3.8241. The Pioneers have been in the top five
for the past seven years and finished first last year. Minnesota posted a team GPA of 3.8095 to rank third.
There were 53 teams with a GPA of 3.5 or more on a 4.0 scale and 228 (14.56%) student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA. Furthermore, 1,075 (68.65% of all reporting gymnasts) individuals carried a 3.5 or better GPA, the second-most reported since 2008. This is the third year in a row where more than 1,000 Scholastic All-America team members were awarded.
The WCGA is the advocate for women's collegiate gymnastics.
