Indoor: Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing first in the shot put with a mark of 18.11 meters (59-5.00) at the Indoor Championships… Opened the season by winning the shot put title at the BYU Indoor Invitational with a personal-best heave of 18.51 meters (60-8.75), which ranks second all-time in school history… Also placed first in the shot put with a mark of 17.81 meters (58-5.25) at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational… Placed in the top seven in the shot put at all seven meets he competed in… Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic, academic all-MW and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (SO)
Indoor: Earned first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing second in the shot put with a mark of 17.13 meters (56-2.50) at the Indoor Championships… Also finished 11th in the weight throw with a mark of 15.34 meters (50-4.00) at the Indoor Championships… Recorded season-best mark of 17.61 meters (57-9.50) in the shot put at the Boise State-hosted Jackson’s/Nike Boise Indoor Invitational, where he placed first in the event… Also finished first in the shot put at the Boise State-hosted Bronco Invitational (16.57 meters/54-4.50) and the Montana State Dual Meet (17.16 meters/56-3.75).
Outdoor: Garnered first-team all-Mountain West honors after placing first in the shot put with a personal-best mark of 18.16 meters (59-7), which ranks eighth all-time in school history, at the Outdoor Championships… Also placed eighth in the discus with a mark of 48.91 meters (160-5) at the Outdoor Championships… Finished seventh in the discus with a personal-best mark of 50.28 meters (164-11.5) at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational… Captured the shot put title at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational with a mark of 17.41 meters (57-1.5)… Competed in the hammer at one meet, the UC Irvine-hosted Collegiate Classic, where he finished 13th with a heave of 40.25 meters (132-0)… Earned academic all-MW, MW Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

2018 (FR)
Indoor: Did not compete during the season.
Outdoor: Placed eighth in the shot put (16.13 meters/52-11) and 14th in the discus (43.54 meters/142-10) at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Notched career-best mark of 45.69 meters (149-11) in the hammer at the UC Irvine-hosted Spring Collegiate Classic… Recorded season-best marks of 17.26 meters (56-7.50) in the shot put at the BYU-hosted Clarence Robison Invitational and 46.09 meters (151-2) in the discus at the Utah State-hosted Mark Faldmo Invitational… Earned academic all-MW, MW Scholar-Athlete and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete accolades.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner as a thrower at Minico High School in Rupert, Idaho… Recorded his personal best in the shot put with a mark of 64-9, good for the Idaho State record, and in the discus with a distance of 172-11… Was a two-time state champion in both the shot put and discus… Tabbed the 2014 Idaho Boys Gatorade Track & Field Athlete of the Year after earning the state record in shot put… Led the Spartans to a 2013 4A State Championship and a 2014 Conference Championship… Earned the Southern Idaho Student-Athlete Academic Award… Graduated with a 3.81 GPA.

PERSONAL: Son of Martin and Judy Barclay… Has four older brothers and two older sisters… Married Kennedie Condie in August of 2017... Served a two-year LDS Church mission in Samoa… Majoring in both business administration and finance.
