Cross Country (2021): Qualified for both the Pan American Cross Country Championships and NACAC Cross Country Championships by placing second with a time of 25:50 in the Under 20 8K race at the USATF Cross Country Championships… Was the second Aggie to cross the finish line at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships as he placed 29th with a time of 30:32.7 to help Utah State finish eighth out of 17 teams… Was the Aggies’ top runner at the Mountain West Championships, placing 12th with a time of 23:50.2 to earn both MW Freshman of the Year and second-team all-league honors as Utah State finished third as a team… Was the first Aggie to cross the line in the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational B race, finishing sixth with a time of 24:48.1… Named the MW Athlete of the Week after placing second with a time of 21:47.4 at the Utah State-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational… Helped lead the Aggies to the team title at the Idaho State Invitational, where he placed seventh with a time of 18:48.8… Finished 18th with a time of 25:30.30 at the Montana State Invitational, where Utah State placed first as a team… Made his collegiate debut at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational, where he finished eighth with a time of 22:14... Named a MW Scholar-Athlete.
Indoor: Placed 12th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:46.16 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships… Placed seventh in the 5,000 meters with a personal-best time of 14:18.54, which ranks sixth all-time in school history, at the Washington Invitational… Ran a career-best time of 8:30.65 to place fourth in the 3,000 meters at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
Outdoor: Did not compete during the outdoor season... Was named a MW Scholar-Athlete and a USU Whitesides Scholar-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 10-time letterwinner in cross country and track & field at La Salle Academy in Providence, Rhode Island… Captured the individual title in the 3,000 meters as a senior at the track & field state championships… Earned first-team all-state honors in cross country as a junior and senior, second-team all-New England accolades in 2019 and a third-team all-region citation in 2019… Helped lead the Rams to cross country state titles in 2019 and 2020, the New England championship in 2019 and region championship that same year… Ran personal bests of 1:59.15 in the 800 meters, 3:59.25 in the 1,500 meters and 8:37.12 in the 3,000 meters… Member of the National/Rhode Island Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society, while earning academic all-state honors.

PERSONAL: Son of Brad and Theresa Leach… Has two older brothers… Undeclared on a college major.
