Cross Country (2015): Finished 126th with a time of 25:27.13 at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships… Competed in five meets during the season and recorded a pair of top-20 finishes, including placing 11th with a time of 18:41.47 at the Utah State-hosted-Aggie Invitational… Also placed 17th with a time of 17:59.17 at the Montana State Invitational… Earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: An eight-time letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Capital High School in Olympia, Wash... Recorded a personal-best 5K time of 18:26… Recorded track & field bests of 5:11 in the 1,600m and 11:10 in the 3,200m… Named to the all-state cross country team in 2013 and 2014… Named team captain as she led Capital HS to a third-place finish at the Washington state championships.

PERSONAL: One of four children of Anna and Emil Pierson… Majoring in composite mathematics and mathematics education.
