Cross Country (2020): Competed at just one meet during the shortened season, placing 45th at the Dixie State Invitational with a time of 22:37.8… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.
Indoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outdoor: Ran the 1,500 meters at two separate meets, recording a personal-best time of 5:03.92 to place 11th at the Weber State Twilight Meet… Finished 22nd in the 1,500 meters with a time of 5:05.36 at the Idaho State-hosted Bengal Invitational… Earned academic all-Mountain West and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Began her collegiate career at Utah Valley, where she was a member of the track & field/cross country teams… Made her collegiate debut at the 2018 season/home opener, where she placed sixth overall with a time of 18:46… Competed in the Western Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships, where she finished 39th with a time of 22:19… Competed in a pair of cross country meets during her sophomore season at UVU… Earned academic all-WAC honors following her freshman campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track & field/cross country at Herriman (Utah) High School… Placed sixth in the 3,200 meters with a time of 11:21 at the 2018 state track & field championships as a senior… Helped the Mustangs capture the state title in track & field as a sophomore in 2016… Graduated from Herriman HS with a 3.98 GPA.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Shaun and Cherity Nielsen… Has one sister… Majoring in nutrition science.
