Biography

1998-99 SEASON (SR): Started 27 games during his senior season at USU, tied for second-most on the team, while playing 23.4 minutes per game… Led the team with 31 steals on the season, including a career-high tying effort of five steals vs Fresno State (12/10)… Was second on the team with 3.2 assists per game… Averaged 6.0 points and 1.8 rebounds per game… Scored in double-figures six times, including a career-high 13 point effort in the first round of the Big West Tournament against UC Santa Barbara (3/4) as he shot 5-of-7 from the field, 1-of-3 from three-point range and 2-of-4 from the free throw line to go along with three rebounds and five assists… Went for a double-double against Colorado State (12/5) as he scored 10 points while dishing out 10 assists… Shot 46.7 percent (64-137) from the field on the year… Brought down a career-high six rebounds at Fresno State (12/10).
 
1997-98 SEASON (JR): Saw action in 22 games off the bench in his first year at USU… Averaged six minutes per contest and scored 1.4 points and added 0.6 rebounds per game… Played double-digit minutes in four games… Hit two-of-three three-pointers on the year… Best scoring game was a 10-point effort against Southern Oregon in the fourth game of the year… Hit 4-of-4 field goals in that contest… Played in just three of the team’s final nine games… Had a season-high three assists in nine minutes in regular season finale against North Texas… Had three steals against Cal State Fullerton.
 
1996-97 SEASON (RS): Sat out the season after his junior college career.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Pensacola (Fla.) JC… Suffered a season-ending knee injury after 15 games as a sophomore in 1996… Was averaging 15 points, seven assists and four rebounds before the injury… As a freshman in 1995 he averaged 8.0 points and 5.5 assists per game… Had a scoring high of 24 points vs Chipola JC… Top assist game was 11 against Northern Florida and he added 10 rebounds against Gulf Coast.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 32 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals as a senior… As a high school junior, he averaged 25 points, four rebounds and three assists… Was named the Virgin Island Daily News Athlete of the Year in 1993 from a group which included Tim Duncan… He was also named the St. Croix Interscholastic Association Most Valuable Player in 1994.
