Biography

2005-06 SEASON (SR): Started all 32 games for the Aggies during his senior season, playing 26.1 minutes per contest… Ranked fifth in the WAC in blocked shots with 41 and eighth in rebounding, averaging 6.0 rebounds per game… Also scored a career-best 9.1 points per game, while scoring in double-figures 14 times during the season… Scored a season-high 20 points on 10-of-13 shooting against Lewis & Clark College (11/26) while also grabbing eight rebounds and recording a block… Had a career-high 13 rebounds in USU’s 59-53 win at Nevada (1/23)… Recorded 10-plus rebounds in five games, and had three double-doubles… Shot 59.1 percent from the field (123-208) while making 64.7 percent (44-68) of his free throws… Was an academic all-WAC selection.
 
2004-05 SEASON (RS JR): Started five of the final six games for Utah State at center and averaged 8.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in 21.3 minutes during those games… Averaged 6.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game during the season, while shooting 56.1 percent from the field and 65.9 percent from the free throw line… Led the team with 22 blocked shots and 19 dunks… Averaged 15.5 minutes per game… Was third on the team in free throws made (60) and attempted (91)… Scored in double-figures eight times during the season, including a season-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting against Cal State Fullerton in the semifinals of the Big West Tournament… Had a season-high seven rebounds at UC Riverside and against UC Irvine… Was third on the team with three charges taken… Finished the year ranked eighth in the Big West Conference in blocked shots with 0.69 per game.
 
2003-04 SEASON (RS): Redshirted his first year at Utah State.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Averaged 8.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas… Shot 57.6 percent from the field and helped his team to a 31-4 record and the school’s second straight appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament… Averaged 6.2 points and 4.1 rebounds per game during his freshman season… Was rated as one of the top-100 players out of junior college.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 20 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks per game his senior season at Externato Madir Alix High School, leading his team to a second-place finish in the state playoffs… Had career-highs of 39 points, 21 rebounds and seven blocks… Was named all-state as a senior along with earning all-National Junior Team honors.
