Biography

2007-08 SEASON (SR): Started all 35 games for the Aggies during his senior season, averaging 29.2 minutes per game… Led the team and the Western Athletic Conference in assists per game (6.40), a mark which ranked ninth in the nation… His 224 assists set a new Utah State single-season record, breaking the old mark of 185 assists set by Jay Goodman (1992-93) and Oscar Williams (1976-77)… Also averaged 5.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game… Ranked second in the WAC with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.38, which is also a school record… Scored in double figures three times and had a career-high 16 points at Fresno State (2/7) where he shot 5-of-6 from the field including 1-of-2 from three point range, and 5-of-7 from the free throw line to go along with five rebounds and five assists… Also posted double-digits in assists three times as he had 10 assists against Utah Valley (12/20), Boise State (1/17) and Nevada (2/11)… Shot 38.5 percent from the field (72-187), as well as going 25.9 percent (15-58) from the three point line and 78.7 percent (37-47) from the free throw line… Voted the Most Inspirational Player by his teammates for the second-consecutive year.
 
2006-07 SEASON (JR): Started 33 of a possible 35 games at the point in his first year at Utah State, including the final 25 games… Finished the year ranked first in the Western Athletic Conference with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.21… That assist-to-turnover ratio also ranks third at USU for a single-season… Recorded 146 assists during the year, which ranks 12thall-time at Utah State for a single-season… Averaged 4.17 assists per game which ranked fourth in the conference… In conference only games, he ranked second with an average of 5.13 assists per game, while his 2.65 assist-to-turnover ratio was first in the league… Also averaged 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 25.5 minutes per game… Shot 33.3 percent from the field, 21.2 percent from three-point range and 93.1 percent from the free throw line (27-29)… Scored a season-high nine points four different times during the season, including at Michigan on Mar. 13 in the first round of the 2007 National Invitational Tournament… Also recorded a season-high eight assists in four different games… Recorded five-plus assists in 16 games during the year… Played a season-high 37 minutes at New Mexico State on Feb. 22.
 
JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned all-Region 12 honors as a sophomore at Vincennes University as he led the Trailblazers to a 26-6 record and the Region 12 Championships… Averaged 9.1 points, 5.9 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 39.2 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from three-point range… During his sophomore season he scored a season-high 25 points against Olney Gulf College and had a season-high 14 assists against Gulf Coast College.
 
PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Played his freshman season at the University of New Orleans as he appeared in two games and scored six points on 2-of-11 shooting from the field, 1-of-6 shooting from three-point range and 1-of-2 shooting from the free throw line… Also had four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-time all-state and all-district performer at New Hanover High School as a junior and senior… Averaged just under 14 points and six assists per game as a senior… Led his team in scoring as a junior and in assists as both a junior and senior… Attended Laurinburg Prep Institute in Laurinburg, N.C. for a year before enrolling at the University of New Orleans.
