Indoor: Competed in three events at two meets during the season… Recorded career-best times of 8.40 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Boise State-hosted Ed Jacoby Invitational, and 53.25 in the 400 meters and 3:24.26 in the 4x400-meter relay at the Montana State dual meet.
Outdoor: Placed fifth in the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 15.07 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships… Earned academic all-MW and USU Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-district honors four times and all-state accolades three times as a hurdler/high jumper at Flathead High School in Kalispell, Mont… The four-year letterwinner was a five-time state placer for the Braves, including capturing the high jump title with a leap of 6-3 as a senior, helping Flathead HS tie for the team title with 83 points… Was the Braves’ highest scorer during his sophomore and junior seasons… Recorded personal-best marks of 14.6 in the 110m hurdles, 40.0 in the 300m hurdles and 6-4 in the high jump as a senior… Also played football, soccer and ran cross country for the Braves.

PERSONAL: One of four children of Amy Gonter… Plans on majoring in biology.
