Cross Country (2023): Finished 22nd with a 5k time of 19:36 at the Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational.
Indoor: Set a personal best in the mile with a time of 5:41.21 as she placed 19th at the Utah State-hosted Roman Ruiz Speed and Power Meet. 

2023 (SO)
Cross Country (2022): Placed 57th with a 6K time of 21:22.7 at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships… Finished 32nd with a 6K time of 20:51.3 at the Mountain West Championships, where the Aggies placed third as a team… Placed 24th with a 6K time of 21:31.3 in the B Race at the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational… Won the Open Race at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run, completing the 6K course in 21:18.9… Named a MW Scholar-Athlete.
Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor season.
Outdoor: Did not compete during the outdoor season… Named a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.

2022 (FR)
Cross Country (2021): Qualified for both the Pan American Cross Country Championships and NACAC Cross Country Championships by placing third with a time of 22:51 in the Under 20 6K race at the USATF Cross Country Championships… Placed 46th with a time of 21:16.7 at the Mountain West Championships, where Utah State finished second for its best-ever finish at the championship meet… Was the top Aggie finisher in the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational B race, placing 19th with a time of 21:39.2… Finished 84th with a time of 21:29.2 at the Lehigh-hosted Paul Short Run, helping Utah State place third out of 38 teams… Made her collegiate debut by finishing third with a time of 18:43 at the season-opening Utah State-hosted Sagebrush Invitational... Named a MW Scholar-Athlete.
Indoor: Best finish of the season was at the Idaho State-hosted Mountain State Games, where she placed third with a career-best time of 10:09.26 in the 3,000 meters… Finished 14th with a personal-best time of 17:16.68 in the 5,000 meters at the Washington Invitational.
Outdoor: Ran in two events during the season as she took fourth with a time of 10:12.55 in the 3,000 meters at the Utah State-hosted Aggie Invitational and eighth with a time of 17:03.30 in the 5,000 meters at the San Francisco-hosted Mike Fanelli Track Classic... Was named a MW Scholar-Athlete and a USU Whitesides Scholar-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Raft River High School in Malta, Idaho, where she earned four letters in track & field and three letters in cross country… Helped lead the Trojans to three state titles in track & field and one state championship in cross country… Was the individual state cross country champion in both 2018 and 2020, while finishing runner-up in 2019… Won individual track & field state titles in the 1,600 meters (2018 and 2019) and the 3,200 meters (2019 and 2021)… Is the school record holder in both the 800 and 3,200 meters, and also set the 3,200-meter state classification record… Ran career bests of 2:23 in the 800 meters, 5:13 in the 1,600 meters, 11:12 in the 3,200 meters and 18:11 in the 5K… Also played basketball for three years at Raft River HS, earning all-conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior… The Trojans placed fourth at state during her junior year… Was a member of the National Honor Society and earned the Dennis James Memorial Scholarship.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Mike and Brooke Christensen… Has two sisters… Her younger twin by two minutes, Karlee, is also a member of the Utah State cross country team… Married Colby Hamson on Aug. 5, 2023... Undeclared on a college major.
