Utah State University Athletics

HONORS -- Was a two-time all-conference selection (2004, 2005), as well as a four-time academic all-conference selection and an academic All-American in 2003 and 2006.

2006 (REDSHIRT)-- Received academic All-America honors in 2006 with a 3.67 GPA.

2005 (JUNIOR)-- Competed in all 13 meets for the Aggies on both beam and floor, and missed only one meet on the bars. She received WGC all-conference honors on beam after finishing fifth with a 9.825. She received WGC all-academic honors for the third straight year as well as being named the WGC athlete of the week for the week of March 7.

2004 (SOPHOMORE)-- Recorded a career-best 9.925 on floor against Missouri/Boise State. Tied career-high of 9.875 on bars twice. Her 9.900 on floor against Southern Utah was good enough for a second place finish. Competed on the vault (9.700) and in the all-around (38.850) for the first time in the last meet of the season against Denver. She was honored with first team all-Western Gymnastics Conference on bars and second team in all-around in 2004.

2003 (FRESHMAN)-- Had three top-three finishes. Was one of just three USU non all-arounders to finish in the top three for the year. Career-best 9.875 on bars gave her third place against N.C. State. Tied for first on bars.

CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL-- Competed as a Level 10 gymnast for Lindy Franzini, Vinici Liera and Enis Hudson at Colorado Gymnastics Institute. A 2002 Level 10 national qualifier. Took second in the all-around at the state Level 10 competition in 2002. Won the 2002 state Level 10 title on floor, finished third on vault, fifth on bars and eighth on beam. Finished second on bars and sixth in the all-around at 2002 regional competition. Was a member of the Winterfest Classic Championship team in 2002. Graduated from Cherry Creek High with a 3.7 grade point average.

PERSONAL-- Political science major and an English minor. Daughter of William and Mary Barr. Has two younger sisters. Enjoys reading, swimming and drawing, and shopping.
