2003 (So.) - Competed in every meet on the vault last year... Scored a season-high 9.725 against North Carolina State... Scored a 9.700 at BYU.

2002 (Fr.) - Scored a career-best 9.825 on vault against Boise State... In her first collegiate meet, she scored a 9.650 against Utah... Went on totie that score a week later at BYU.

CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL - Level 9 gymnast at Gymnastics East for Sarah Mathies and Kim Thompson... Won the state floor competition in 2001... Finished third at state in 2001 in floor and vault... Took fourth in vault at 2001 regionals.

PERSONAL - Journalism/communications major... Daughter of Jon and Becky Rands... Has two brothers and one sister... Her mother was a gymnast at BYU from 1979-80... Enjoys dance, choreography, photography, cooking elaborate meals and shopping.
