TULSA, Okla. - Sarah Lowe and Caroline Pollock were unable to produce victories this week at the Rolex Region 7 Invitational. The 27 team tournament was the last preseason invitational for the Aggies.

Pollock failed to qualify for the tournament as she was defeated by Paige Brown from the University of Kansas 6-1, 6-3 in the qualifying round. The junior from Park City, Utah finished the preseason with three wins and two losses.

In the first round Lowe matched up against Brown, who had beaten Pollock the day before. Lowe was unable to win and was eliminated by Brown 6-2, 6-1. Lowe finished the season with a 1-4 record in singles play.

Pollock and Lowe teamed up in doubles play, but were defeated 9-8 in a close match by Oklahoma's Braver/Bryntesson pair. As a team, Lowe and Pollock finished the preseason with a 2-4 record.

Season play begins for the Aggie women in January at the University of Utah.
