Show Me: Utah State Athletics Unveils Initiative to Unite Aggie Nation
LOGAN, Utah – From fans to local businesses, Utah State Athletics calls on everyone to “Show Me” their support and get involved as the department gears up for its historic move to the Pac-12.
Loyal Aggie supporters have long been pivotal members of Utah State Athletics’ rich history, displaying unmatched pride at athletic events. With the Pac-12 era on the horizon, the department is inviting the community to play an important role in shaping the next phase of growth.
The initiative is designed to strengthen the department’s foundation and create lasting opportunities for student-athletes and the community. It also connects Utah State Athletics, the Cache Valley community and Utah State University’s integration into the new Pac-12, building momentum around the athletics department and the university.
That shared momentum comes at a critical time for Utah State Athletics as the competitive landscape continues to evolve.
“From my opening press conference, I have been clear: everyone from Cache Valley is an Aggie,” said Utah State Vice President and Director of Athletics Cameron Walker. “The passion and pride displayed by our outstanding fans are unmatched, and that is why we need everyone to join our pursuit of becoming one of the premier athletic departments in the West and the new Pac-12.”
Working in tandem with the previously announced Reach & Rise campaign, the Show Me initiative is an all-encompassing modernization effort that highlights the multiple ways investors, fans and community members can make an impact on Utah State Athletics.
More than ever, in this new era of intercollegiate athletics, investments from Aggie Nation will be pivotal to the success of Utah State University and its athletics department.
The current landscape has shifted what is required to remain competitive, driven by the transfer portal, internal name, image and likeness (NIL) and other factors that affect both the immediate needs and long-term future of the department.
Increased investment directly impacts the Cache Valley community, giving USU the opportunity to attract and retain championship-level talent that leads to wins and the pursuit of titles. When the athletics department succeeds, the Cache Valley community benefits through greater visibility, supporting university enrollment and helping establish lasting generations of Aggie alumni who call Cache Valley home.
“Everyone has the opportunity to make an impact, whether that’s through buying tickets, making a donation to the Big Blue Club, purchasing Aggie merchandise or showing your USU pride,” said Walker. “For our local business partners, join us on this journey and see how a partnership with Utah State Athletics benefits you in our community.”
Those opportunities reflect a broader effort to engage supporters at every level.
The athletics department is calling on supporters to play an active role and make a meaningful impact through tickets, philanthropic giving and sponsorships. Fans are asked to “Show Me” they are Pac-12 ready by purchasing tickets and investing in the Big Blue Club or Blue A Society.
Donations to the Big Blue Club start at $50 and directly support student-athletes through scholarships, championship resources and other key areas prioritized by athletics leadership. Fans who want to make a lasting impact on Utah State Athletics can join the Blue A Society, the Big Blue Club’s leadership-level giving society, with commitments of $25,000 or more over a five-year period.
For local and national businesses, partnering with Aggie Sports Properties (ASP) provides an opportunity to showcase products and services alongside the Aggies, creating mutually beneficial partnerships that support Utah State while increasing brand visibility. The athletics department is seeking new sponsors to invest in the Utah State brand.
Each area has 6- and 18-month goals, outlining Utah State Athletics’ steps toward Pac-12 readiness while grounding the department’s efforts in its new “Show Me” guiding principles.
The principles are reflected in the core values of service, honor, ownership, winning, momentum and excellence, echoing the vision Walker outlined in his opening press conference and laying the foundation for a stronger connection between Utah State and Cache Valley.
Building on these core values, the athletics department is planning unique opportunities to engage with the community. These efforts will be showcased through upcoming events at USU athletic venues and community service initiatives, demonstrating to Aggie Nation the department’s commitment to fostering a shared sense of community.
