POCATELLO, Idaho - Utah State's track teams opened their indoor season at the Snake River Open in Pocatello, Idaho Saturday. The Aggies competed against Idaho State, Southern Utah, Boise State, Utah, Weber State, BYU, Northwest Nazarene, Ricks College and Treasure Valley Community Collge, along with competitors from Nike and Greater Boise Running Club.

The women's track team ended the meet with three first place finishes. Junior Sandra Reategui finished first in the 200m with a time of 24.86 and senior Kristi Connors place first in the 400m at 56.24. A first-place finish in the field events came from sophomore Candice Workman in the shot put with a mark of 46-9.

Freshman Justin Wickard brought in the only first place finish for the men's team with a 55m hurdle time of 7.51. Seniors Robert Crockett and Demario Franklin finished the meet tied with a second-place high jump mark of 6-7.

The Aggies will host the Wilson Motor Invitational at the George Nelson Field House on Jan. 26. Field events begin at 9 a.m.
