Final Stats

LOGAN, Utah - USU women's and men's track teams set the pace at the Wilson Motor Indoor Track Meet Saturday.

Junior sprinter Sandra Reategui led the women's team with a first-place finish in the 60m with a career-best time of 7.74, which tied her for third place in USU record books. USU also had four other finishers in the top ten in the 60m.

Heather Smith's third place finish in the 60m hurdles was the second best in USU history. Sophomore Candice Workman finished first in the shot put with a throw of 45-10 and fifth in the weight throw at 46-11. Kristen Coombs finished first in the mile with a time of 5:15.22.

Senior Anthony Stewart started his indoor season with a first place finish in the 60m with a personal best time of 6.80. Stewart is now second in USU record books for the 60m. Freshman Justin Wickard won the 60m hurdles with a career-best time of 8.04, which was the second-best finish in USU history.

Other USU first-place finishes came from Steve Prescott in the 5,000m, Maurice Jenkins in the pole vault and the USU 4x400 relay team.

The Aggies will compete Feb. 1-2 at the Idaho State Invitational in Pocatello, Idaho.
