** USU (2-5) will try to put consecutive wins together when the Aggies travel to Louisiana-Monroe on Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. Mountain time.
** USU has played consecutive one-point games for the first time since 1991 when the Aggies lost 7-6 to Long Beach State and the next week won 20-19 against Fresno State.
** WR Kevin Curtis needs 26 receptions and 460 yards in the next four games to become USU's career record holder in both categories.
** LB Jesse Busta needs just nine tackles for fourth on the USU career tackles list.
** QB Jose Fuentes needs three touchdown passes to become the Aggies' all-time leader in that category.

** Utah State will play just one match this weekend as the Aggies host travel partner Idaho at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Sat., Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. USU is 3-2 at home thus far this year.
** Utah State is 10-7 all-time against Idaho and 6-4 versus the Vandals at home. USU has won the last three matches in the series and six of the last seven. The Aggies defeated Idaho earlier this year in Moscow in four games by scores of 21-30, 30-23, 30-28, 30-28.
** Junior Erin Cartwright was named the co-Big West Conference Player of the Week on Oct. 14 as she led Utah State to wins over Brigham Young (3-2), UC Riverside (3-0) and Cal State Fullerton (3-0).

** The USU-Pacific (8-5-2, 0-3-2) series stands at 4-2 in Pacific's favor, though the Aggies have defeated UOP each of the last two years. Both meetings game in Logan, with USU winning 2-1 in overtime in 2000 and 1-0 last season.
** Cal State Northridge's (1-12-1, 0-4-1) lone win on the season came in their first contest, as they defeated Nevada, 1-0 in overtime. Since, CSN has gone on to 12 consecutive losses, breaking that streak with its tie last week. USU and CSN met for the first time last year in Logan, as Cal State Northridge defeated the Aggies, 2-0 on Oct. 28.
** Sophomore goalkeeper Megan Mills set the USU single-season save record this weekend. Mills has recorded 83 saves on the year, besting the 82 by Tracy Brady last season.
** Junior forward Amber Tracy scored both of USU's goals Sunday against Cal Poly, marking the second time in her career she's scored two times in a match.

LAST WEEKOffTHIS WEEKOct. 23-27 - at Rolex Invitational, Las Vegas, Nev.
** The Aggies' men's tennis team will head to its final tournament of the fall season Wednesday, Oct. 23 through Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Rolex Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev. All preseason tournaments feature individual play only, no team scores are tallied.
** More than 140 men's collegiate tennis players from 15 colleges and universities are competing in this week's tournament. Included in the field of 15 are in-state foes Utah and Brigham Young. For the sixth consecutive year the tournament is being held at the Fertitta Tennis Complex at UNLV.
** The tournament will open play on Wednesday with 50 singles matches and 25 doubles matches. Single matches will be double elimination while doubles play will be single elimination.
** Aggies who saw action in last year's tournament include: Jason Trask, Jonah Nelson and Brandon Butler. Another Aggie to watch for is freshman Andy Marsh. In Marsh's young career he has recorded four wins in singles and one paired with Brandon Butler in doubles. Marsh's five wins are tops for the men's team this year.
** The men's team begins its spring season Jan. 17 as it hosts the Air Force Academy.

LAST WEEKOffTHIS WEEKOct. 23-27 - at Omni Hotels Central Region Tennis Championships, Tulsa, Okla.
** Senior Caroline Pollock and sophomores Haley Hawkins and Carolyn Larsen will compete in the Rolex Regional Tournament in Tulsa, Okla.
** Pollock, who has the best singles record on the team at 2-3, will represent the Aggies in singles action. Pollock competed in last year's tournament, but was defeated in the qualifying round.
** The Hawkins and Larsen duo, with a team-best 1-1 record, will play doubles for USU. During their freshman season, Hawkins and Larsen finished with a 7-8 record, also a team-best from last season.
** Among the other 26 teams sending players to the Omni Hotels Central Region Championship are Air Force, Boise State, Colorado, BYU, Colorado State, Utah and Wyoming.

LAST WEEKOct. 14-15 - at Boise State Bronco Round Up, 6th/10THIS WEEKOct. 21-22 - at Countrywide Invitational, Northridge, Calif.
** USU will conclude its fall season playing at the Countrywide Invitational hosted by Cal State Northridge on Monday and Tuesday. The tournament will take place at the Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley, Calif.
** USU is expected to send freshmen Cody Huot, Marcus Myers, sophomore Chris Combe, junior Wade Cowen and senior Phil Kalivas.
** Huot leads the team with a 74.50 average. In USU's last tournament he tied for fifth and earned Big West Conference Golf Athlete of the Week honors.
