Final Stats

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Seven Utah State University track athletes claimed individual titles, while the Aggies women's 4x400 relay team also posted a victory Friday at the triple dual meet hosted by Montana State.

Five Aggie men won events including Justin Wickard, who won the 55-meter hurdles and the long jump, Dwayne Foster in the 55-meter dash, David Kunnas in the 800, Maurice Jenkins in the pole vault and Demario Franklin in the high jump. On the women's side, Candice Workman won the shot put and Katie Farner won the high jump.

The meet featured three duals and Utah State's men's team posted a 3-0 record with wins against Weber State (70-68), Montana (87-57) and Montana State (75-66).

The Aggie women were 0-3 falling to Weber State (69-65), Montana (74-71) and Montana State (89-58).

Wickard's fist-place long jump finish ties him for first place all-time and his 55-meter hurdle finish set a new personal-best time. Kunnas' time in the 800 was also a personal best.

Farner's high jump finish was a personal best and Workman's finishes in the shot put and weight throw put her on the all-time list at fifth and eigth respectively.

The Aggies will travel to Flagstaff, Ariz. for the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Championships Feb. 22-23.
