After the first day of competition at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Indoor Championships the Aggie women are in ninth and the men are in eighth place.
Shae Bair placed seventh in the pole vault to lead the Aggie women on Friday. Sandra Reategui finished sixth in the 200-meter preliminaries and will go on to compete in the finals Saturday.
On the men's side, three Aggies scored points: Dusan Hlubocky finished sixth in the 3,000-meter, Justin Wickard finished seventh in the long jump and Demario Franklin finished eighth in the high jump.
Three Aggie men will compete in finals Saturday including Justin Wickard who finished first in the 60-meter hurdles preliminaries, Brett Guymon who will compete in the 60-meter hurdles and the 400-meter finals and David Kunnas who finished eighth in the 800-meter preliminaries.
