Utah State's lady netters lost 6-1 to Northern Arizona University Sunday. The loss marks the second defeat of the weekend, as the Aggies also lost to Cal Poly on Saturday. The women's record now stands at 4-4 on the season.
Senior Amy Thatcher posted a win in her first singles match of the spring season. Thatcher defeated Lumberjack Michelle Mohr in three sets (6-4, 2-6, 10-7). Thatcher also contributed by way of the doubles matches, as she and sophomore Richelle Ferguson defeated NAU's Ashley Dille and Karen Kmiec.
The Aggies' next contest is against Weber State in Logan on March 6 at 1 p.m. The meet with the Wildcats is the first of two this season, as USU will play Weber in Ogden on April 3.
