LOGAN, Utah - Three Aggies won titles this weekend as the Utah State track and field team opened its outdoor season at the Baldy Castillo Invitational in Tempe, Ariz.

Shae Bair won the pole vault title with a height of 12-5.5, tying her for second all-time in the Aggie record books. Katie Farner finished second in the high jump (5-8.75), tying her for fifth-place all-time. Kristen Coombs finished second in the 1,500-meter (4:33.54) and third in the 800-meter (2:14.30).

On the men's side, Brett Guymon won the 400-meter hurdles (50.53) taking him to fifth place on the all-time list and Maurice Jenkins won the pole vault with a height of 16-4.75. Justin Wickard's second-place finish in the 110-meter high hurdles (14.21) adds him to the all-time list in fourth place. Demario Franklin finished ninth in the long jump, setting a new career-best of 23-2.5 and tied for seventh in the high jump (6-4.75).

The Aggies continue their outdoor season April 6 at UC Davis.
