Freshman Carolyn Larsen posted Utah State's lone singles victory of the day, as the Aggies fell to Denver 5-2 in women's tennis. USU also won the doubles point by winning two of three in doubles play. The Aggies, now 5-8, dropped all three matches played in Boise this weekend.
Larsen defeated Maru Altamirono 6-4, 6-4 at number five singles, improving her individual spring season record to 7-6. Larsen and Haley Hawkins won at number two doubles, while Jocee Bergeson and Amy Thatcher were victorious at number three doubles.
The Aggies will be back in action Wednesday, April 17 against Idaho State in Logan for the last match of the regular season. The Big West Conference Championships will be April 25-28 at Ojai, Calif.
