LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's women's tennis team concluded its regular season with a 4-3 victory against Idaho State here on Wednesday. The Aggies, who improved to 6-8 on the year, will next be in action at the Big West Championships at Ojai, Calif., April 25-28.

The middle of the lineup for USU was solid as the Aggies recorded their second victory against Idaho State this season. USU posted wins at number three, four and five singles and added a doubles point with wins at number two and number three doubles.

Caroline Pollock and Carolyn Larsen each recorded their team-leading 11th individual victories of the season as Pollock won at number three and Larsen cruised to victory at number five. Richelle Ferguson won at number four singles.

Larsen and Haley Hawkins combined to win the number two doubles match and Jocee Bergeson and Amy Thatcher won at number three to give USU the doubles point.

Earlier this season, USU defeated the Bengals by an identical 4-3 score at Pocatello. In that match, USU won four singles matches to get the victory. The Aggies claimed the number three through number six wins back on Jan. 23.
