OJAI, Calif. - Utah State's women's tennis team had its 2002 season ended with a 5-0 loss to first-seeded UC Irvine Friday. The Aggies (7-9) and the Anteaters (16-6) were delayed because of rain Friday in Ojai, Calif. When the rain cleared, the Aggies fell to the top Big West team in a match that featured only five singles and no doubles matches.

The Aggies seven wins ties last year's amount, as the Aggies finished 7-10 in the 2001 season. The Aggies will lose seniors Sarah Lowe, Amy Thatcher and Tracy Bertagna from this year's team.
