Women's Tennis Defeats Cal State Fullerton, 5-2

LOGAN, Utah - Caroline Pollock, Carolyn Larsen and Lindsey Bennion all posted wins in both singles and doubles action as Utah State women's tennis defeated Cal State Fullerton 5-2, Tuesday, April 1 at the Sports Academy in Logan. The Aggies won their third straight, as they improved to 5-6 on the season, while the Titans dropped to 4-15.

The Aggies snagged the doubles point as Pollock and Bennion won at No. one doubles and Larsen and Haley Hawkins won at the No. two spot.

In singles action, Pollock won at No. one in three sets and Larsen won at No. two, 6-4, 6-0. Bennion shut her opponent out in two sets, 6-0, 6-0. Also posting a victory for the Aggies was Richelle Ferguson, who won at No. five.

The Aggies play three matches this weekend at Boise State University. The Aggies will face Boise State, Friday, April 4 at 3:30 p.m. and UTEP on Saturday, April 5 at 9:30 a.m. The third match is against Lewis & Clark and will be Saturday evening or possibly Sunday morning.
