LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's basketball (3-4) looks to get back to .500 on the young season with a matinee match-up against border foe Idaho State (4-5) Monday at 1 p.m.

The Aggie look to snap their first two-game skid of the year as they play their first game in Logan in over a month. The last game USU played at home was its home and season-opener on Nov. 19 against Weber State. Monday's game is just one of four day games the Aggies play this season.

Ali Aird and Brittany Tressler currently lead the Aggies with 11.6 points per contest. Jessica Freeman is USU's top rebounder thus far, averaging 6.1 boards per game. She is also the Aggies' leading shot blocker as she has swatted a team-leading 17 shots this season, which moves her into fifth place on the USU career blocked shots list with 48 career swats.

All of USU's wins this season have come when it has scored 70 or more points. The Aggies are ranked 26th in the nation for fewest turnovers per game at 14.6 per contest.

The Bengals are 4-5 on the year following a 73-58 triumph against Division-II Saint Martin's on Saturday. The Bengals' four wins this season have all come at home as they also defeated Lewis-Clark State (83-61), Big West opponent UC Irvine (93-73), and Southern Utah (79-69), who the Aggies beat by 21 earlier this year. ISU is 0-3 on the road after dropping two road games last week to Boise State (60-52) and Oregon (79-56).

Molly Hays leads the team in scoring at 14.3 points a game and rebounding at 8.6 rebounds a contest. Andrea Sivakova is second on the team in scoring at 11.4 points per game. Sivakova leads the team in three-point field goal percentage at 45.0 percent. ISU is shooting 36.8 percent from the field as a team and averaging 68.8 points per game.

The Bengals return two starters and five letterwinners from last year's team that went 20-9 on the season and finished tied for second in the Big Sky Conference with an 11-3 mark. Idaho State is coached by Jon Newlee who is 26-29 in two years as ISU's head coach and 61-60 in three years as a collegiate head coach.

Following Monday's game, USU has nine days off before hosting Idaho to begin Big West Conference play on Wed., Dec. 29 at 3:30 p.m.
