Cedar City, Utah - Three different Aggies tied for first on three of the four events to lead Utah State to a 196.00-195.225 victory at Southern Utah in women's gymnastics here Monday.

Rachel Ropelato tied Southern Utah's Molly Bauer on the vault with a 9.850 score and tied teammate Alex Martin and SUU's Leah Sakhitab on the bars with 9.875 scores. Gretchen Goerlitz tied Sakhitab on the floor with a 9.875.

USU's 196.000 tied its season high set against the Thunderbirds in a meet at Logan on Feb. 6. The Aggies also set a season high on the bars, scoring a 49.225 as well as setting a new mark on the beam with a 49.125.

Martin, who had won two straight all-around titles, finished fourth in the all-around on Monday with a 39.250. Sakhitab of SUU claimed the all-around with a 39.300. Goerlitz was third at 39.250

Utah State will host its second home meet of the year when the Boise State and Missouri come to Logan. Former Olympians John Roethlisberger and Shannon Miller will be on hand for an autograph session after the meet.
