LOGAN, Utah - USU's men's and women's tennis will travel to Indian Wells, Calif. to compete in the Big West Conference Championships beginning Thursday for the women and Friday for the men. The men enter the tournament as a number six seed and will face number three Pacific at 4 p.m. in opening round action. The women open up the tournament as a number 10 seed, taking on number seven Idaho at 2 p.m.

The women finished the season 5-12 overall and 0-4 in conference play. The Aggies fell to Idaho earlier this season in a neutral court match at Boise, Idaho 5-2. Courtney Anderson and Andrea Hansen were the lone Aggies to pick up singles victories. Idaho finished its season 11-6, 2-2.

The men finished the season 9-11 overall and 0-3 in conference action. Earlier this season the Aggies fell to Pacific 6-1 in Logan. Ryan Bair, playing at the number six spot, had the lone singles victory for the Aggies. Pacific finished its season 12-9, 3-1.

"We are excited to play at Indian Wells, an official ATP host site," said head coach Christian Wright. "I expect to see some great matches from both teams."

The women will continue play on Friday, the men Saturday, in either the winner or consolation bracket.
