Final Stats
LOGAN, Utah - Jessica Parenti won the all-around, Liesel Kohler claimed the beam and Megan Tschida won the floor to lead Utah State to a 195.825 to 194.700 win against Southern Utah in gymnastics action here on Monday night.
The Aggies, who are ranked 18th in the nation, scored at least 195.000 for the fifth straight meet as its 195.825 was its second best score of the year behind only a 195.900 at Texas Woman's on March 1. Earlier this season, USU fell at Southern Utah 193.900 to 192.625.
USU closed the meet strong scoring a 49.050 on the beam for its second best score of the year in that event and a 49.075 on the floor to tie its third-best floor score of the season.
The Aggies finished the night on the floor with a 9.850 from Tschida as well as 9.825s from Liesel Kohler and Parenti. Parenti recorded her fourth straight individual all-around title.
The Aggies will hed to Denver on Saturday for its final regular season meet of the year. USU will then participate in the Western Gymnastics Conference Championships at Fullerton, Calif. on Saturday, March 26.
