LOGAN, Utah -
Jason Herbers has been named as the marketing and promotions director for the athletics department at Utah State University and began work this week. Herbers replaced Kim Torman Larson, who accepted a position in the USU alumni office.

"We are very excited that Jason has decided to join our marketing and promotions team, said USU Associate Athletics Director Kevin Dustin. "His experience and enthusiasm sets him apart and I am positive that he will make an immediate and positive impact on our programs. Jason is committed to ensuring that all of our sports teams receive the most exposure possible and that the fans that attend our games will have an enjoyable entertainment experience. I am also confident that his expertise will open new opportunities for our sponsorship partners."
Prior to working at EWU, Herbers was the promotions coordinator at Wisconsin for three years (1998-2001). He also worked for the La Crosse Bobcats of the Continental Basketball Association, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Madison Mad Dogs.
