Utah State's women's tennis team lost to Montana State Saturday afternoon, 5-2. With the loss the Aggies are now 1-2 this season.
At the No. 3 spot Courtney Anderson and Dee-Dee Nelson were the only Aggies to win in the doubles action beating Lisa Clark and Katy Clark 8-3.
As for the single matches, Utah State won two of the six matches taking the No. 3 and 4 spots. Courtney Anderson defeated Vera Vasileva 7-5, 6-3 to take No. 3 and Dee Dee Nelson defeating Katy Clark 7-6, 6-4 to take No. 4
"I wasn't happy with the results, but I was extremely happy with the effort everyone had," said coach Christian Wright. "We need to make adjustments for our upcoming match.
The Aggies will be in action again Sunday at 8 a.m. in Bozeman, Montana where they will play Wyoming.
