LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's women's tennis team fell to 2-5 on the spring season with a 5-2 loss at New Mexico State Sunday. It was the Aggies third match in three days and the last on their road trip where they went 1-2.

In singles action, senior Lindsey Bennion took the No. 1 spot by beating Isabelle Mignot, 6-3, 1-0, Ret. At the No. 2 spot senior Jill Smith defeated Edine van Beusekom 7-5, 1-6, Ret.

In doubles action all three Utah State teams suffered losses.

The Aggies will be in action again on Feb. 7 at Idaho State.
