BOISE, Idaho-- - Utah State's women's tennis team suffers another loss this weekend to Idaho here on Friday afternoon. The Aggies are now 7-12 this spring season.
The Aggies struggled with the doubles matches but ended up taking the No. 3 spot with Courtney Anderson and Dee-Dee Nelson defeating Idaho's Tara Fielding and Lauren Shrubb 8-5.
In singles action the Aggies won two of their six matches. The Aggies scored their first team point when Jill Smith took the No. 2 spot defeating Mariel Tinnirello 6-4, 7-6. Sophomore Courtney Anderson took the No. 3 spot defeating Efrat Leopold 7-6, 6-1 resulting in the Aggies second point.
Utah State will be in action again on Sat. April 15 in Boise, Idaho. The Aggies will take on Nevada at 9:30 a.m.
