LOGAN, Utah - Utah State gymnastics scored a season high team score to beat Southern Utah's season high score 195.675 to 194.700 here on Friday night.

The team score of 195.675 ties for 16th in Aggie team score history, while the team floor score ties for 10th on the all-time list.

In the first rotation, Nicki Felley placed first on vault and scored a career high 9.875 to lead the Aggies to a team score of 48.925, while SUU scored a 48.725 on bars.

In the second rotation, Meagan Lewis tied her season high of 9.875 and placed first, Ashley Barr also tied her season high 9.825 and placed second and Felley scored a career high 9.775 to lead USU to its season high 48.975 on bars.

After two rotations the Aggies were leading the Thunderbirds 97.900 to 96.825 following SUU's score of 48.100 on vault.

In the third rotation, the Aggies were led by Jessica Parenti-Otte's fourth place season high score of 9.875 and Heather Heinrich's fifth place career high score of 9.850, to a team score of 48.450 on beam, while SUU scored a 49.025 on floor. After three rotations the Aggies maintained the lead over the Thunderbirds 146.350 to 145.850.

In the final rotation, the Aggies flourished on floor posting a number of season highs. Megan Tschida and Lewis tied for first and posted season highs, each scoring a 9.900 to lead the Aggies to a season high team score of 49.325, leading the Aggies to their season high team score of 195.675

In the all-around, Southern Utah's Elise Wheeler placed first with a 39.300, while Lewis and Parenti-Otte followed with identical scores of 39.275.

Overall the Aggies had a total of eight individual season highs, five career highs and three season high team scores.

USU will return to action when it hosts Alaska-Anchorage on Friday, Mar. 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
