RENO, Nev. - Utah State women's tennis lost their first of three matches this weekend against Nevada Thursday, 6-1, at the Wilbur D. May Tennis Complex at Reno High School. With the loss the Aggies now stand at 4-7 for the season.
The Aggies were swept by Nevada in the doubles action and lost five of the singles matches. USU's Dee-Dee Nelson earned the only point for the Aggies at number 4 singles after Nevada's Alice Hall retired during the second set due to an injury.
The Aggies next action will take place Fri., April 6 at 10 a.m. in Reno against San Jose State.
