LOGAN, Utah - Florida State University announced today the hiring of Randy Spetman as their Athletics Director. Spetman had been the AD at Utah State University since July, 2004.

"Randy and Becky have done an outstanding job," said USU president Stan Albrecht. "Although they will be greatly missed, they have put us in a position of strength, built a strong foundation and provided leadership that contributed to growth in our teams, facilities and the academic success of our athletes. We will continue to move forward."

The University expects to name an interim athletics director later this week, as well as begin a search for a permanent replacement.
