USU vs. Idaho State - 11/24/09

TEAM NOTES
* Utah State improved to 53-17 over the last 11 years following a loss and has lost three straight games just once during that time period.
* Utah State has now won 35 straight home games, extending its current school record and the nation's second-longest home winning streak behind Kansas (42). Overall, USU has now won 50 of its last 51 home games dating back to the 2005-06 season.
* Utah State extended its home winning streak against non-conference opponents to 39 straight and it has now won 63 of its last 65 home games against non-conference opponents.
* Utah State is now 160-12 at home under head coach Stew Morrill, which includes a 76-4 record against non-conference opponents.
* Utah State improved to 44-9 all-time in home openers and has won 16 straight.
* Utah State has now out-rebounded all four of its opponents this year and had a season-high 43 rebounds tonight.
* Utah State attempted a season-high 20 three-pointers and tied its season-high with seven made treys.
* Utah State had a season-high 19 assists and a season-low nine turnovers.
* Utah State scored a season-high 77 points tonight, while its 44 points allowed is the fewest since Jan. 8, 2009 when it defeated Louisiana Tech on the road, 50-37.
* Utah State has now won 11 straight games against Idaho State.
* Utah State is now 40-7 against teams from the state of Idaho under Coach Morrill.

PLAYER NOTES
* Tai Wesley scored a season-high 19 points and had a season-high four assists. It is the third time this year and 47th time in his career he has scored in double-figures.
* Brian Green scored a season-high 12 points and had a season-high three rebounds. It is the second time this year he has scored in double-figures.
* Pooh Williams had his first start tonight and had a season-high eight points.
* Jared Quayle had a season-high seven assists. It is also the first time in 32 games that he has scored in single digits in consecutive games.
* Tyler Newbold had a season-high four rebounds.
* Modou Niang had season-highs with four points and three rebounds.
* Brady Jardine had a season-high eight rebounds.
* Matt Formisano tied his season-high with six points and had a season-high three rebounds.
